I am a Calgary-based web and graphic designer, wife of a wonderful husband, and mom of two beautiful children, alhamdulillah.

I spend most of my time with my husband and daughter, learning Quran, and in the great Canadian outdoors.

My passion to design and draw flourished from an early age – from the time I was caught drawing a large smiley face on the carpet (~age 4) to painting furniture with nail polish and carving on the wall behind my desk with my compass.

Only in my second-last year in high school did I accept my destiny within the field of Arts and Design and took courses such as Photography, Film, Communication Technology etc.

I spent two years at the prestigious New Media Program at Ryerson University, developing and refining my skills. There, I learned some basic html, css (though I do not use it), animation, learned numerous other skills as making DVD and some boring (but useful) programming on Flash.
I focused on graphic and web design, typography, and building my skills through consulting with my professors at university.

My studies at Ryerson came to a halt when I moved to Calgary. However, through online and video tutorials. I continue to hone my skills  through volunteer and client-based projects.
